England is in the semifinals
We seriously doubt that someone has missed it but anyways – England became the 3rd team to reach 2018 World Cup semifinals. Three Lions did well to stop Sweden in the Last 8 clash by scoring two unanswered goals. In the first half Sweden did well at the back by blocking not-so-creative English attacks but also failed to make their actions in front quite handsome. On 40th minute Harry Maguire headed in the opener for England after Ashley Young’s nice cross. Soon after the break Dele Alli added one more as he capped delightful team attack with a vicious header. Sweden had very few chances to equalize both goals during the game but all their attempts was denied by English goalkeeper Jordan Pickford who performed admirably to keep the clean sheet for his side. Final score – 2:0.

England are the luckiest team in this World cup by a landmile. Well, you do need luck in football though so am happy for them
Well they've deserved their luck after all these years of misery. But they need something more than just luck in the finals whatever the opponent it would be.
Too much time without being able to succeed in competitions, unfortunately they did not have good tactics or did not know how to play the rival in recent years and they always went home early, even though the team was full of star players. We will have to see how far they can go this time.
