Drones are circling overhead
As we walk hand in hand through the garden of wonder
The garden of course is long since dead
What we walk's the concrete it has been buried under

So I ask the nightmare might you be bought off with a scream or two
If fear is only love that has yet to be met with love
Then let this love flower let these kisses be sweet
And let us love each other for a little while at least
For flowers turn to green fruit
And green fruit to ripe
Then they fall to the ground with the little seeds inside

Cold makes smoke out of our breath
Threading yet another maze of glass and steel and plastic
Microcosms you and I
Teeming with life safe within each slick synthetic packet
