Steemit OPEN MIC Week 114- Cover-"Stel Andre"- "Emotional Melodic Guitar Solo 1" (Electric Mandolin cover) By @Josevallera

Hola que tal amigos, todo un placer estar nuevamente esta semana en esta edicion #114 del concurso @openmic, auspiciado por @pfunk, @ausbitbank, y @Curie. En esta ocasion prepare un cover de un gran musico independiente como lo Stel Andre, titulado "Emotional Melodic Guitar Solo 1", melodia en tono de Ab menor. Ahora bien, permitanme hablarles un poco de este gran musico, Stel Andre nació en 1985 en la ciudad de Atenas en Grecia. Su padre, un músico quien fuera autodidacta, lo inspiró a entrar en la música bastante temprano con apenas 6 años de edad, iniciandose en este mundo con clases de piano,pero no llego demasiado lejos co eso. Adquirio su primera guitarra a los 17 años, y dicho por el mismo fue "amor inmediato", por este instrumento. Bandas como Metallica y Iron Maiden lo inspirarían en los primeros años, pero sería Dream Theater, el que tuvo mayor impacto en su estilo y técnica. Los cds de Dream Theater, así como los DVD y libros instructivos de John Petrucci formaron la pasión de Stel por la interpretación progresiva / melódica. Jugadores como Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Yngwie Malmsteen, Andy Timmons, Steve Lukather, Marco Sfogli y Jakub Zytecki también lo inspirarían mucho. Después de un año con su primer maestro, Stel asistió al Conservatorio de Música Nakas, una rama de Berklee College of Music en Atenas, Grecia. Impartido por el gran maestro de jazz griego Yotis Samaras, y también tuve lecciones con muchos otros maestros talentosos, incluido el famoso Marco Sfogli, para rematar. También estudió en el London College of Music, obteniendo el diploma de maestro de guitarra de Associate Of The London College Of Music - ALCM (TD).

Stel instantáneamente comenzó a practicar durante varias horas al día. Todo ese tiempo Stel siguió practicando su técnica y estilo general. Uno de los momentos mas notables en su carrera fue, su primera entrada ganadora en el "Concurso de Lanzamiento del Álbum de Alquimia Pública" de David Walliman, lo que le otorgó un solo invitado en su álbum. También ganó el 4to lugar en el 'Shut Up & Play Guitar Competiton 2014', con David Kilminster, Irene Ketikidi y Yannis Papadopoulos como jueces principales. También fue finalista en varios otros concursos de guitarra y ganador del famoso sitio web Jamtrackcentral's, Jam Of the Month. Sus videos ganaron varias veces la mención "Video de la semana" del distribuidor oficial de Axe Fx II EU, G66. Stel Andre es un artista oficial de Kiesel Guitars... Todo un personaje este gran musico, que con toda humildad y de todo corazon, siento un gran respeto y admiracion,esperando algun dia poder convertirme al igual que el en un gran musico, sin perder jamas la humildad y el respeto por todos y cada unas de las personas que en el dia ya sea con sus aplausos, criticas (buenas y malas), me ayudan e inspiran a convertirme en "ese musico"... sin mas que agragar por ahora..., les deseo a todos un feliz dia, tarde, noche, y un gran abrazo!

On this occasion I prepared a cover of a great independent musician like Stel Andre, entitled "Emotional Melodic Guitar Solo 1", melody in the tone of Ab minor. Now, let me tell you a little about this great musician, Stel Andre was born in 1985 in the city of Athens in Greece. Taught by the great Greek jazz master Yotis Samaras, and I also had lessons with many other talented masters, including the famous Marco Sfogli, to top it off. He also studied at the London College of Music, obtaining the diploma of guitar teacher Associate Of The London College Of Music - ALCM (TD)

Stel instantly started practicing for several hours a day. All that time Stel continued practicing his technique and general style. His love for the melodic approach to improvisation, gave him that unique characteristic of his great sense of feelings and melody, he would play live several times with many different bands to gain experience. With all these resources, he also started teaching electric guitar from 2008. Since then, he has taught numerous players from around the world and continues to teach constantly in person and on Skype..

One of the most notable moments in his career was his first winning entry in the "Public Alchemy Album Launch Contest" by David Walliman, which gave him a single guest on his album. He also won 4th place in the 'Shut Up & Play Guitar Competiton 2014', with David Kilminster, Irene Ketikidi and Yannis Papadopoulos as main judges. He was also a finalist in several other guitar contests and winner of the famous Jamtrackcentral's website, Jam Of The Month. His videos repeatedly won the "Video of the Week" mention from the official distributor of Ax Fx II EU, G66. Stel Andre is an official artist of Kiesel Guitars ...
