Para esta semana de steemit open mic, les traigo mi versión de Summertime.
Escogí esta canción porque en estos días me encuentro de vacaciones en casa de mis padres leyendo últimamente sobre aquellas mujeres valiosas que representaron el jazz durante los años 20s 30's 40's.
Entre las cosas guardadas que todavía conservo en casa desempolve un teclado que le regalo mi papá a mi hermana una navidad, pensé que no servia pero para mi sorpresa si funcionó.
Lo difícil de venir aquí es no tener el instrumento para practicar, el encontrar este tecladito me animo utilizarlo para esta ocasión del openmic!
Le puse un efecto de marimvibrafono para recordar la belleza de la percusión y sus instrumentos de teclados.
Este es el fragmento que canta Ella Fitzgerald en esta versión con Louis Armstrong.
Summetime es un aria de la obra Porgy and Bess de George Gershwin, estrenada en 1935, existen innumerables interpretaciones en vivo y grabaciones de muchos artistas, como las de Ella Fitzgerald y Louis Armstrong.
Esta ópera es reconocida por la síntesis innovadora que tenia, Gershwin utilizó las técnicas orquestales en combinación con la música jazz.
El dominio de estas técnicas las demostró por primera vez en su obra Rhapsody in Blue en 1924, por lo que uno de sus trabajos siguientes fue hacer su opera Porgy and Bess. La obra trataba sobre el estilo de vida de los estadounidenses negros en la ficticia Calle Bagre (Catfish Row) en Charleston, Carolina del Sur a principios de la decada de 1930.

Helloooo! For this week of steemit open mic, I bring you my version of Summertime
I chose this song because these days I'm on vacation at my parents' house reading lately about those valuable women who represented jazz during the 20s 30's 40's.
Among the things stored that I still have at home, I dusted a keyboard that my dad gave my sister a Christmas, I thought it did not work, but to my surprise it worked.
The hard part of coming here is not having the instrument to practice, but finding this keyboard encouraged me to use it for an openmic! I put on a marimvibraphone effect to remember the beauty of percussion and its keyboard instruments.

Summetime is an aria from George Gershwin's work Porgy and Bess, released in 1935, with countless live performances and recordings by many artists, such as Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong.
This opera is recognized by the innovative synthesis that it had, Gershwin used orchestral techniques in combination with jazz music.
The dominance of these techniques was demonstrated for the first time in his work Rhapsody in Blue in 1924, so one of his next works was to make his opera Porgy and Bess. The play was about the lifestyle of black Americans on the fictional Catfish Row in Charleston, South Carolina in the early 1930s.
