Prepping to make Fire Cider & Master Tonics for the winter-Part One
Fire Cider is a traditional 7 ingredient tonic preparation of various spices and pungent herbs macerated in vinegar and sometimes honey.
Turmeric, Ginger, Garlic, Onion, Horseradish, Hot peppers and live Apple Cider Vinegar provide a wealth of benefits.
A few of the ingredients I use:)
Some of its properties are:
anti viral, anti fungal, anti bacterial, anti parasitic, natural antibiotic, immuine system booster, cold remedy, boosts blood circulation and lymph node flow to the whole body....
And i could go on!!
Organic horseradish gettin' chopped
Jars of a special kids formula being prepped
Adding the ACV to the mix to begin the ferment!!
Other ingredients i add to other tonic blends include calendula petals, cinnamon, thyme, rosemary, cranberries, beets, oranges,raw honey and lemon.
Tomorrow i will post my fermenting jars and detail each of the 3 types and their uses and properties!

Besides the chopping, its really simple. I will post measurements and ferment and strain times tomorrow!

Minimum 2 weeks. I do 4-6 and some people do months. Some bury it according to moon cycles and cure it that way. Natural remedies rock!
