Silver Swirling Sky

This piece of music was inspired by a photo by my friend Anthony Mark Lamort, who made a collection of his photos available to me as he traveled down the Atlantic coast. This is the kind of photo I like, and often like to take, but his is a cut above because the instant I saw it, the sky just began to move and shimmer and swirl in my mind, like a time lapse of high clouds flowing by. I thought of today because of all the high clouds that just keep on, right into the summer, flowing across the skies here in California, speaking of storms somewhere closer than ordinary at this time of year...

But Anthony's photo is still a cut above all of that ... it was like looking at God at work, stirring a sky full of silver and sapphires overhead, around and around and around, or even perhaps at different temperatures ... regular silver, still relatively cool, some white-hot, some blue-hot, all liquidly moving in the forge pot, to be purer and better than before...

To me, it all started moving, instantly ... my memory of that strange reaction to this still photo I have put into this piece of music.

This old photo stirred up something else ... I'd love to collab and do some improvs with some Steemit artists who cover nature... drop links to each other's stuff and mingle our support lines ... just thinking ... anybody interested?
