Pagan Holidays

in #pagan5 years ago

I grew up in a Christian home and although I was always drawn to earth based practices. I used to think that witch stuff was “bad” and that I was engaging in things that could be seen as evil.

As an adult, I learned more about paganism and I absolutely love earth based practices and work to encorporate them into my home.

I love explaining the change is seasons and celebrating that, along with the changes we experience as humans during these times. I love communing with Mother Earth and feel truly at peace in nature. The mountains are my sanctuary.

Here is a calendar of the Pagan Holidays and I just love the visual. Any of my steemians celebrate these?

This is a fairly new practice for me and would love to hear how you celebrate too 💜💕💙

Maybe write about your own experience? As you see, nobody wanted to answer your question. Why would people bother to share with you the way they celebrate holidays, if you failed to say the same about you?

You wrote 'pagan' with a lower case 'p'. I think it is correct, since the term 'Paganism' doesn't refer to any religion in particular, still, I have a preference of writing it with a capital 'P' in consistency with other religions, such as Christianity and Buddhism.

Technically Paganism is not a religion, but a philosophy, like ubuntu, whereas Wicca and Asatru are religions, still, I like to think about Paganism like an eclectic religion, so I spell it with a capital letter.

You say 'I love explaining the change is seasons and celebrating that'. Why you haven't explained them, then, in this article?

Maybe don’t be such an asshole? Your comments list is disturbing with how self-righteous and condescending you are. Fuck off, you’re not perfect, nobody is... All you do is leave huge comments basically saying that the author is wrong and you are right. Nobody likes receiving comments like the ones you make!

Why you didn't just tell me that @consciousangel7 actually did write in another article in what way you, @amvanaken, and her, spent Halloween? I was obviously wrong when I claimed that the author didn't share the way they spent holidays.

You could have pointed out the factual error I made in this comment, send me the link to the article that does provide the answer to my question, you would have proven that I am an idiot, I would have said you were right, and that would be the end.

Instead you started attacking my other article that was not relevant to Halloween at all!

Did you even read this comment? Two of the four paragraphs you dislike say that the author is actually correct in the way they spell the word 'pagan', but I have a different preference.

Two of the four paragraphs (50%) are not condescending at all, but just share my preference, and you could have easily proven to me that I was wrong in the comment if you just sent me a link to the other article that I should have found myself, but I didn't.

You are such an idiot. (I am not talking to @consciousangel7, who did nothing wrong). You attack my unrelated article for no reason, and you haven't even understood this comment.

You could have looked at her blog before assuming things... Even if we didn't post about halloween, you have no right to judge her for anything! You don't even reveal who you are in your profile, you could be a Bot for all we know, and you're over here complaining that we didn't share enough... We put our WHOLE LIFE on this blockchain and we have been doing so for years... You are a brand new user running around, judging as many people as possible. You just look ridiculous at this point, please leave us alone and don't comment ANYWHERE unless you have something nice to say.

If I can do something to clarify who I am, please tell me what that might be.

You are aware of my article. Bots do not generate these.

Your wife published just three articles, which combined have a length smaller than my one article, which you downvoted. This is not WHOLE life. These are three short articles.

I am an experienced blogger. In my article I provided a link to an internet archive containing the contents of my previous blog. You can compare the style to see that it was written by the same person.

I was obviously wrong by judging your wife, which I already admitted in my previous comment.

Some of the articles I judge are just stupid, or harmful. People promote books that specifically tell people that they should have an empty mind, or want to collect workers for some unpaid blockchain project without proving in their article, or their website, that they have any knowledge about blockchain.

I shall continue to judge these. If you are not okay with people being able to read your or your wife's articles, and comment on these, you should not be on Steemit in the first place.

Maybe the authors are idiots. You fuck off.

YOU came to OUR family's posts with your judgemental attitude...

Who cares? The author just wrote an irrelevant article. I pointed it out to them.

Nobody likes your comments. Did you notice that? Every single person you comment to, you leave an asshole comment contradicting their post, and then the author is annoyed. Doing that will only get you flagged more. Your REP is now at 22, 3 levels under a new user (25). Being an asshole to people and telling them to fuck off when you invaded their page is what gets you there.

Ok have some more flags then... One day you'll realize nobody likes comments with 20 condescending questions in them. And you're still doing these annoying huge comments to people, unbelievable...
