Hello, good morning, today we continue with our journey, in the world of arts today we are going to see something made with Chinese ink. For me they have to have a skill, technique and skill. To be able to work with this ink since for me it was a long time ago to write, it made me very difficult since it dripped a lot or stained me. The leaf or all my hands, in my opinion, this painting looks like a hieroglyphic type, in its ordinary shape and texture, how it was framed, I had not seen anything in this ink for a long time. That very little is seen or used.

Chinese ink is an ink used mainly in Chinese calligraphy, Japanese and Korean calligraphy, in which the sumi-e (墨 絵 sumi e?) Is most frequently used. Later it arrived in Japan during the fourteenth century in the Muromachi era and was used to make monochromatic paintings in ink, which had a profound influence of Chinese culture and was propagated by the Zen monks, forerunners of the sumi-e technique.

Part of the urban art that the artist gave us to delight, something usual in artists who are nudes but through the art of ink, here investigating something to use this ink if a technique is used. Call "Sumi-e" something is learned every day not many, years that I do not see a pen of Chinese ink these pens were very. Pretty and striking only a few had a long time ago I do not know now since I never saw them again in the market, I only remember that every time I used them I would stain everything or Botaba the ink.

The preparation :

Chinese ink is the dust or soot that is collected from the fumes produced by the combustion of resinous materials, called carbon black, dissolved in water. It does not need binder, since the carbon molecules are in colloidal suspension and, when dried, they form a water resistant layer. You can add a binder such as gelatin or, more often, shellac in order to increase its durability after drying. When a binder is added, the resulting ink may be water resistant or not.

Here, as the author mentions, the map of the creation of genetics, summarized in a painting, I liked his creativity and the way he reflects it. His originality plus his time and dedication must have a lot of patience something that, I do not count anymore, when I did my exhibition of scribbles I took each picture on cardboard of thread. 3 days dedicating practically 14 continuous hours many times. The wrist got tired or it hurt because the markers affixed them a lot like when I write, but in the end they left 15 pictures of 3 are in an office. The rest no idea where they will be around the world or in the trash

Liquid ink used to be used from solid bars. The bars, rectangular, circular or canoe shaped tablets, were rubbed by a rough stone specially designed for that purpose called in Japanese suzuri (硯 suzuri?). These stones, of various shapes and aspects, all have in common that they are composed of a rough material and consist of a cavity for the ink. Generally, stones of Chinese origin have concave shape with the lower central part, and Japanese stones are usually mostly flat with one end down.

Another technique to use in writing is: (硯 suzuri?). With Chinese ink, in this case they only use it to write in flat or the Japanese, every time we discover a little more about this ink and its methods for its artistic use. I think it can help many here in these platforms because, there are many talents to export only that many do not know or do not want to exploit them. On these platforms I met several who have millions of talents, but do not like their gift and prefer other things than using their imagination. To then regret not exploiting many must alternate or motivate them to continue their talent.

On these stones a little water is poured and on these the tablet is milled, undoing little by little the ink, which is mixed with the water that accumulates in the cavity of the stone. This process can be continued until the ink acquires the density required for its use, so it usually lasts a few minutes.

And to finish with something different so they do not wait, more of the same since one day is not equal to the others. I will only leave it as a reference I hope that these techniques and preparation can help them, to those who are open-minded and those who like to create new things or help them to raise their creativity. Using this ink, I also hope you like it, thanks to the author of these works and the National Art Gallery. For allowing the development of this content and also for showing it to the world, thank you very much and with this I say goodbye.

The liquid ink already prepared dries easily, and it is convenient not to let it dry on said stone or on the brush.

Currently it is common to use bottles of ready-made Chinese ink, very dense, which can be used directly or dissolved with a little water.

What an amazing article, I really loved reading it. I have used Chinese ink from the solid form a lot for calligraphy, drawing and also in restoration of antiques mixed with shellac. I now feel like getting out my inks and brushes after many years of them being put away. Fantastic images from the National Art Gallery. Love your work!🙏
