What a beautiful bird is flamingo! It is very decorative and adorns any pond in which it is. In the nearby fagunas in the rural area where I live, Mar del Plata, Argentina is frequently seen. I really like to paint them in those strange poses that sometimes they adopt !!

Hermoso flamenco, el fondo negro favorece mucho el cuadro además, le da ese contraste que hace que resalte el color.

You say you like painting them in the weird poses they choose, and I say that the weird pose is exactly what caught my eye. Really refreshing to see them other than in profile, one one leg. Great contrasting black background, too.
