A mirage of mountains

The scene looks unwelcoming, as the mountains’ faces peer back with unwavering eyes. The juts and crevices sharper than a blades edge awaiting their next victim to attempt a climb. This place is no joke, but many attempt with great confidence similar to the trek at the worlds tallest, Mt Everest. People die, but this doesn’t stop the many that want to say they’ve conquered a challenge of one’s greatest feat. But to whom does it matter? It’s solely an internal battle and conquering such a challenge allows inner peace, until the next challenge arises. The time has come, and here goes nothing, they said.
