Belgian Jupiler League Week 10 Super Sunday

in #palnet5 years ago (edited)

These are previews from the Belgian Jupiler League with all the latest on team news, player form, injuries and my personal betting angles, ...

I can't complain about yesterday as I listened to my gut feeling avoiding some big losers not taking the pre-game under in Waasland and Stvv as the underdog pre-game. 3 more top matches today between teams on top of the standings...

Club Brugge vs AA Gent

This is the clash between the current 2 best teams in the league. Club Brugge Played a good match away against in the Champions League against Real Madrid while AA Gent again showed signs that there is quite the gap between their home and away matches. They played on Thursday in Ukraine, had a couple of days less to recover and had to deal with annoying timing for the flight back. This for sure will have a bad impact on them. Looking at some of the numbers on these teams, Club Brugge has been a losing team at home against the Asian handicap going 1W-2.5L-0.5P and so has AA Gent on the road 0W-2.5L-0.5P. Club Brugge has been profitable on the Under bets as they got into a streak with some strikers out of form (3O4U-1P vs Asian over line). The fact that they on average only get 0.38 goals against with Mignolet in goal has also a lot to do with their under stats. AA Gent despite the fact that they are free-scoring also has under stats going 3W-3L-2P vs the Asian total line. Both coaches do have an offensive play style and don't really adjust all that much to the opponent which holds me back from taking the Under 3.25 line. Based on all the facts, Club Brugge deserves to be the favorite and there is not much to work with when looking at the odds and lines that are offered. I will pretty much go into this match blank seeing where it all goes. No Pre-Game Bets

Antwerp vs Standard

Standard got Slaughtered by the Arsenal B-Squad on Thursday in the Europa League while Antwerp did not have a mid-week match which should give them an advantage. I like Antwerp as a team and they have a lot of former Standard players. Standard remains an all or nothing team and I'm more leaning toward it being nothing again today given the fact it's an away match and they didn't have much time to recover also having gotten a mental hit. Antwerp this season plays more forward especially against smaller teams at home but I would not be surprised if this one turned into a more tactical chess game. Standard coach Preud'homme is known to adjust his team in situations like this. The final line-up will make a lot clear. The day game odds as most times look pretty much on point and leave not much to work with. No Pre-Game Bets

Racing Genk vs Moeskroen

Another match of a team that had a mid-week European match. Racing Genk for the first time this season showed some real signs of light against Napoli keeping a 0-0 draw at home. There is no doubt that they do have enough quality players in their team to easily make it into Playoff 1. Some missings along with the weight on their shoulders to perform as good as they did last season (with key players having left) and the fact that they have a new coach resulted in a really poor start of the season. While they aren't fully out of the woods yet, the 1st half against Stvv along with the match against Napoli showed some positive signs. Moeskroen is a team that got really lucky early in the season, gained some confidence out of it combined with the fact that they were enforced with Garcia Aleix who came over from Manchester City now actually makes them into an ok team. The level of Garcia is head and shoulders above the rest and he managed to score in all of the last 3 matches being in really great from. Right now he is still somewhat under the radar and I took a tiny gamble on Garcia Aleix to score @ 5.60. I've read a rumor that there is a flu virus going around in the Moeskroen locker room and not everyone might be up for it tonight. I haven't been able to confirm it anywhere though, but if it's true there might be a line-movement late based on team line-up. Similar to the other matches, I'll see how it all goes live...
Late info might change my view on what is written in these previews. I will cover these matches live in our SBC Discord Channel. The Bookmakers that I am personally using and currently am willing to recommend are Sportmarket Pro, Nitrogensports, Sportsbet.io. Bigger bets will te shared and tracked on Twitter and can also be followed directly on copytip. IMPORTANT !

Past results don't guarantee Future Results. There are very few people that are equipped financially and psychologically to handle the ups and downs of gambling on a daily basis. If you're not a professional, every instinct you have will attempt and probably will sabotage your success. Human nature runs completely contrary to being successful at gambling. These bets are posted as a way to help myself in order to stay disciplined, always hold yourself accountable if you end up following. Proper Bankroll Management can highly decrease the risk of heavy losses!

I try to make a decent quality post each day and will get all of them upvoted to reach closer to the linear reward curve about 24 hours after it was posted making sure everyone that is putting me on their auto-curation list will get full curation rewards for it! Thanks

Hello. Currently there are a lot of curation groups and whales curating amazing content, there's no need to buy votes. The downvote you received is to discourage the buying of votes from bidbots. We kindly invite you to join us on the #NewSteem attitude, where good content receives votes and the organic content get the most attention. Buying votes hurts you, other authors and the Steem Ecosystem in general, please don't do it.

In this case, you bought a vote by sending sports token to @sportsvoter, which is exactly the same as buying votes with Steem. It hurts the Steem ecosystem. Please don't buy votes.

🤣

I don't see any of those mysterious curation efforts upvoting the @costanza's posts. Looks like they are too busy spending 9/10 votes on their friends.

See @costanza, they are kindly inviting you by flagging your posts 🤣 Welcome to #NewSteem where the whales continue to circle jerk while they flag the small guys and preach about doing good for the platform.

@costanza, you're a bad bad boy... hurting steem ecosystem! Why are you sending SPORTS to sportsvoter (which is the same thing as sending STEEM to the bidbots) when you can join the whales upovte circles and have your content manually curated to the trending page? I really don't understand you man.

PS- @anomadsoul did you ever upvote a single post written by @costanza? The guy's been producing the best sports betting content on the platform for years now, so how many votes did you give him during that time?

I think you are making a grave mistake in what newsteem is all about. I think incentives to promote curation are very welcome but you are missing an important part of the Steem ecosystem and this trend is likely to do much more harm to Steem than good.

Not every user/investor wants to post or curate but would like to invest in a project they see as revolutionary. Vote selling and paid delegation cater for those types of users. By all means flag crap content that is up voted by bidbots.

However to attack all paid up votes is a huge mistake imo. If it is done with the belief those votes would instead go to more, so called deserving authors then think again, you will just drive away investment money. It is my firm belief that bid bots add a commercial aspect to Steem that is largely overlooked.

So judge the content, not how the rewards were obtained, most of the voting on Steem is between groups of like minded individuals and friends, at least buying votes provides a way to break out of that.

Buying votes will hurt him because he will be attacked? There is no evidence it will hurt other authors because as I said they are unlikely to get those votes anyway. I have said it on numerous occasions there needs to be other ways to earn on Steemit other than Posting and Curating, bidbots and paid delegating provide that mechanism, if you kill them you kill Steem. So no, I think down voting all paid up votes regardless will definitely hurt the Steem ecosystem.

On top of that you are now also undermining the value of the majority of all the tokens, now I wasn't a great fan of the tokens and also of SMT's I didn't see the use case, however the tribe aspect they have provided seems to be remarkably successful and as also led to the provision of more front ends.

With the exception of DEC most tokens value will reside in the fact that you can exchange it for votes. If those coins have been earned by worthy posts in those communities and by what I have seen most of those are far more stricter than Steemit ever was on content and rewards, then that helps those communities to grow and have value. By killing off @sportsvoter you are effectively hurting sportstalk.

Investors need to earn Steem because its inflationary, by attacking that aspect of Steem you are effectively driving away potential investment money, if this is newsteem then I really do fear for the future price of the coin.

One last point, you preach about how Steem should be about curating good content and organic content and yet you down vote based on none of those attributes at all but purely to discourage the buying of votes, do you see the hypocrisy here?
