Guess The Flower?
Hey everyone, I trust that you are having an amazing weekend? Based on the fact that Bitcoin finally breached 11k for a few minutes I truly hope so?
Today I head off into the vegetable patch to do as I do... Take pics of interesting natural wonders.
I planted these about two months back in the middle of Winter. They went to seed rather fast probably a sign of lower soil nutrients, sadly, we still did harvest a good couple of salads though and now we will have free seeds and not have to buy again.
These flowers are the tiny flowers that gourmet loose leaf lettuce makes as it goes to seed. Secret is to leave them another week or two let them dry and harvest the seeds.
My Chinese Machilli Cabbage has gone to seed too and the interesting thing is the bees love those flowers, for some or other reason they do not touch these at all ?? I am guessing as there is no pollen or nectar in these?
