The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine, back in 2017, published a review of thousands of cannabis studies. The review indicated that cannabis had been shown to help treat pain, nausea, and vomiting related to chemo, and helped MS symptoms.

In one study from the University of New Mexico, cannabis had shown to offer remedy for 27 different health conditions including depression and seizure disorders.

Many pills on the market have been responsible for deaths, and they also come along with a long list of negative side effects to worry about.

People need other options.

Medical cannabis is the natural treatment option that continues to grow rapidly.

Studies have shown that cannabis could be a viable and effective treatment for many, giving millions an alternative to prescription medications.

"If the results found in our studies can be extrapolated to the general population, cannabis could systematically replace multi-billion dollar medication industries around the world. It is likely already beginning to do so." -- J. Vigil

Cannabis is a plant that has proven to be able to help many people and alleviate their pain and suffering. Still, the stigma persists and the image of what your average cannabis user looks like is being reconfigured one story at a time. The more that people share their story of cannabis healing, the quicker that the misinformation can be challenged. The ignorant cannabis view can fade away, the lies and stereotypes can be put to bed.

Tens of millions of people suffer from chronic pain and the average patient is juggling 3 medications or more on average in order to try and deal with it. Some chronic pain patients might use 10 medications or more. Use and abuse of a number of prescription drugs has shown to decrease as cannabis has been legalized.

Many patients have been able to drastically cut down on their prescription medications or cut them out completely thanks to cannabis.

A large number of doctors today still say that there "isn't enough evidence" or research yet on cannabis, for them to feel comfortable recommending it to patients. But how much do they need? Because they've proven to have been willing to disperse many pharmaceutical products that have been known to have detrimental side effects, promote addiction, and worse.

The federal government in the U.S. still deems cannabis as Sched. 1 substance with no medicinal value.

Eventually, many expect that they'll have no choice but to get with the changing tide, and embrace this small freedom. After all, the people get extorted, assaulted, spied on, stolen from, sent to fight in endless wars, have their natural rights violated in numerous ways regularly, the least the rulers could do is allow the people some freedom to try and battle their pain or improve and potentially save their lives.

The claim that there isn't enough evidence yet to support the idea that cannabis has medicinal value is one that arguably isn't based in reality.

There are thousands of studies that have been published on cannabis and some would tell you that there is already more than enough scientific evidence to demonstrate the safety of cannabis, as well as the potential that this plant has to help with a wide range of conditions and symptoms.
