A war is being waged against the whole planet

The notion of "governamental countries" is threatened into being forgotten. USA's assault on Afghanistan (by @gooddream) is not a war from US against Afghanistan. It is, in fact, a war of a few against the whole world.

Of course, the middle east suffers directly. But the USA is weakened by this too. And it doesn't end there: thanks to the havoc, waves after waves of refugees flee to europe.

This massive immigration causes problems in european countries because there is not enough infrastructure to support them. It is an ongoing issue that can easily be observed by the "take them in or not?" debate.

Eventually, climate change will prevent sustainability, forcing the world's population to move into big cities because only technology can help them survive. That technology, along with public services, gets constantly privatized, reducing access to the most basic needs.

When all of the necessary steps are finished, big cities will be a modern version of concentration camps, where everyone is a 24/7 monitored slave thanks to sattelites, instant communication (electricity + internet) and information control.

So who's on the winning side? No countries. No population. Just a few extremely powerful, wealthy, greedy and spiteful fascists who want to rule the world. Right now, humanity should be fighting for it's own free will, because their plans are working.
