My dear foodies,

I thought you loved the banana and oatmeal publication, so I brought you another combination, this time banana and cocoa. But what can we prepare with these two ingredients? Delicious truffles, another recipe is that easy to prepare, and best of all is a totally vegan dish, low in calories and very nutritious.

Cocoa is a unique ingredient with which we can prepare many recipes, a pity that in temperate climate countries we do not know this tropical fruit, which has delighted the palates of the world for centuries. Avoid buying products that deceive you just because it says it is the original cocoa, check the information carefully and try to buy cocoa seeds at some point so you can smell their smell and you will be registered, to avoid deception.

Today cocoa is one of the most counterfeit foods in the world, we can find a wide variety of foods that claim to have high percentages of cocoa and actually have barely 5% or 10%, some companies have been sued for placing that is 100% chocolate getting to change the name thanks to justice. It is very dangerous to play with health.

(for20 portions):

♡ 1 black cocoa bar with hazelnuts

♡ 1 can Vegan condensed milk

♡ 3 Bananas

♡ 1 cup brown sugar (180 grams)

♡ 1 cup cocoa sparks

♡ 1 cup grated coconut (100 grams)

♡ ½ cup Sesame seeds

PREPARATION

Preparation time: 30min
Cooking time: 60min
Total: 90min

First we'll group together all our ingredients and things we'll need like our best pots and pans and other utensils.
Then we will cut our banana in an orderly and precise way, we only have to cut it in slices, then we will choose our best pot to place the plates and we will cover it with abundant water until covering them completely. Do not cover them with more water than indicated, as this could affect the consistency of the dough at the end of the preparation.

Then gradually add the sugar to our bananas that we are going to cook over medium heat, when it is at its boiling point we will proceed to remove the banana and after 2 minutes we will go down to medium heat and continue cooking until the mixture has the consistency of a mouthful and we have evaporated much of the water, it is important to stir constantly so that the banana does not burn.

You can use other sweeteners besides sugar if you wish, you can replace it with Stevia or agave syrup. The white sugar if I do not recommend it, especially if we want to maintain a healthy recipe, brown sugar is less harmful because it does not undergo refining processes has more fiber and less harmful additives to our body. I like the agave syrup very much because with a small amount you can achieve the sweetness that we want in desserts.
Then we will remove the pot, turn off the fire and leave aside our thickened banana.

The next step will be to melt the cocoa, I chose the bain-marie to make it practical and prevent the cocoa from burning or sticking to the pot. But you can do it in a normal pot, you just have to be very careful not to burn the mixture, I would not recommend the use of the microwave, but if you have no other option, nothing happens.

This is the moment in which we will incorporate the condensed vegan milk to the melted chocolate, we will be stirring very well until it mixes well with the chocolate, the next step is the most important. Vegan condensed milk is obtained mainly from soy, although there are also made with coconut milk, both ingredients have a considerable amount of vegetable fat that allows you to reach the consistency of the original condensed milk, only that this is very healthy and does not damage our body as made with animal milk.

Once the condensed milk has been mixed with the cocoa, we must mix it with the banana, this we will do until the characteristic mass of the truffles is formed, and then we will have our mass that should not be too thick or liquid, but in a medium point, we will pour our mass in a container and we will let it rest for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator. It is important not to leave the fridge too long because the fat in the condensed milk can create a layer similar to the cream in animal milk and this would ruin our recipe.

After the hour we will remove and shape our truffles, which are now more manageable and easier to handle. In this way we will be able to give it the characteristic shape of truffles, round like a sun.

When we finish preparing our characteristic truffle balls, we can add the final ingredients, with slightly wet hands not too to choose one by one of the balls and pass them through the grated coconut if we want or gossip of cocoa or sesame seeds. This is totally optional, I let your imagination make some modification and choose another ingredient of your liking.
