Before Buying That Steem How Do You Plan To Invest It?

I woke up this morning to discover that I had received 20,000 GEEK rewards airdrop, the GEEK rewards is a new token on Steem-Engine. I felt really good about it but didn’t know what it was all about. I did a search about it and was able to get a post that details what it is all about.

GEEK token is a steem engine token that rewards content creators on the steem blockchain. Additional rewards can be generated by staking GEEK. The unstaking cooldown period is seven (7) days with seven (7) transfers made during the unstaking period.

I immediately staked my GEEK, my post today wasn’t to talk about the GEEK rewards but rather to talk about what I was thinking about this morning as I was staking the GEEK rewards. You see, before the coming of Steem-Engine things was not as complicated as they are now. No offence to Steem-Engine, I mean it in a good way. My routine then was buy steem and then figure out how much of it I want to power up, how of it I want to use in leasing SP and how much of it I want to use in promoting my post.

Now, it’s not that easy anymore, now I buy Steem and I to decide how am going to share it among the following:

• Powering up to get more Steem Power

• Lease SP

• Buy and stake more tokens

  o   Which token to buy and stake?
  

• Buy token miner

  o Which token miner to buy?

• Donate to 1 or more of the projects you support

• For those that are into games I’m sure there is another level of thought process in this section I just occupied.

When I make a post that is investment related I usually put the disclaimer below just before the end of the post.

But I think it’s getting to the point where we need to seriously start checking analyzing what is going to be more profitable for you in the long term. With more tribes coming and you trying to have a better stake at the tribes that interest you the most then it isn’t going to get any easier and if SMT finally shows up. Well we leave that at the ‘if’ level. Lol.
