Pada artikel ini akan membahas tentang warisan budaya peninggalan pada masa kerajaan kerajaan di Indonesia. Peninggalan ini harus tetap dijaga kelestariannya untuk mengingat kejayaan di masa lalu dalam rangka menambah rasa bangga kepada tanah air. Berikut akan dikutip sebuah tulisan yang menjelaskan tentang candi peninggalan kerajaan Majapahit. Candi ini bernama candi Gapura Bajang Ratu

Gapura Bajang Ratu

Gapura Bajang Ratu atau biasa disebut Candi Bajang Ratu, terletak di Desa Temon Mojokerto, Jawa Timur. Telah dibangun sejak abad ke 14.

Gapura ini dulu dibuat sebagai pintu masuk saat memperingati wafatnya Raja Jayanegara. Tapi sebelum Raja tersebut wafat, candi ini digunakan sebagai pintu belakang kerajaan. Hal ini terlihat dari arsitektur candi tersebut, terdapat relief Sri Tanjung dengan sayap gapura yang pada saat itu melambangkan pelepasan.

Jika dilihat dalam struktur bangunannya, candi ini berbentuk vertikal memiliki 3 bagian seperti tubuh, kaki dan atap.

Bila dilihat dari atas, candi ini berbentuk segi empat dengan panjang 11,5×10,5m, tinggi 16,5m dan lorong 1,4 m.

Di daerah kaki, terdapat bingkai bawah dan atas serta badan kaki. Dimana disana terpampang relief Sri Tanjung. Zaman dulu relief tersebut dipercaya sebagai penangkal mara bahaya.

Bajang Ratu Gate

Bajang Ratu Gate, or commonly called Bajang Ratu Temple, is located in Temon Mojokerto Village, East Java. has been built since the 14th century.

This gate was used as an entrance to commemorate the death of Raja Jayanegara. But before the king died, this temple was used as the royal back door. this can be seen from the architecture of the temple, there is a relief of Sri Tanjung with the wing of the gate which at the time symbolized the release.

When viewed in the structure of the building, this vertical temple has 3 parts such as the body, legs and roof.

When viewed from above, this temple is rectangular in shape with a length of 11.5 × 10.5m, height of 16.5m and a corridor of 1.4m.

In the foot area, there are lower and upper frames and body legs. Where there is the relief of Sri Tanjung. In the past, the relief was believed to be an antidote to danger.

While on the right wing, there are reliefs of the Ramayana.
