Ulog Lego Weekend!
A coworker's kid had grown out of his Legos and was giving them away. Well my kid is still into Legos, so he brought them to the office last week to give to me.
The sets contained appeared to be mostly cars, spaceships, and robots. We spent Saturday digging out all the Bionicle parts and trying to separate out the smaller or unique pieces.
From left to right, the boxes are small or planks or different, main box of parts, Bionicle and other robots parts, and bigger plates or bigger different pieces.
This guy nearly had all his pieces, but I improvised a little to finish it.
Also in our digging, we found a bunch of body parts. heads, arms, hands, and legs all removed from their bodies! Aedan and I each put a person together from the parts as well. Mine's the caped pumping head construction biker.
And then digging through some more, I saw we had many pieces for Jango Fett's ship, Slave I. I put the Harry Potter sets I started collecting off to the side and began working on this ship.
I spent way too long on this project, but I got this far before I stopped.
I'm pretty sure this set is also missing pieces, so I started getting creative with my color and shape replacements.
So I think I may be developing a Lego addiction. Well, we'll see how it goes goes after today. I might bring home a bunch of small boxes to do some crazy sorting by color!
