My Little New Homeschooler

Well, she is not yet officially enrolled, but she will be in a couple of weeks. Besides, all kids are "homeschooled" first, right?

Little Miss in the mood.

So tonight she was in the mood to join us as her Kuya and I did some Math exercises.

She is still "cheating" with her upper and lowercase letters. Haha. 😅 In the photo above, she was the one who thought of the "captions". I just wrote on the other side of the notebook for her to copy.

Proud to say though, that she learned writing her alphabet on her own. Now she is learning to follow the lines - - tall letters touch the first line on top and the small letters touch the middle line only... but we'll have to work on proper strokes and all the works. Oh, we have time. 😊

About the drawing:

She started with the sea. 🌊
Then she drew the boat ⛵, complete with the "Captain" 👨‍✈️⚓, his seat and "steering wheel". It even has a thingy where the smoke (chooo-choo) comes out. She wanted to put a flag and decided that the Philippine flag 🇵🇭 it is. 😍

Oh I am excited(err, anxious) at what our upcoming homeschooling year shall be. 😅

I will try to keep you updated of our progress here too.
