Deputy General Manager of PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Wilaya Bandung Linson Parlindungan declared the 2018 World Cup event in Russia affecting the sale of communication and data services package product, IndiHome.

"It must be acknowledged that the Russian World Cup brings us a splendor, which has been influenced by the increase in Indihome installation orders," Linson said in Bandung on Thursday, July 5, 2018.

He said the reason for one reason people are installing IndiHome to watch every game in the 2018 World Cup because of the quality of impressions and can record the game. "If on the regular television use the antenna that will have the same effect of image quality, if IndiHome full HD digital and can even play back," he said.

According to Linson, PT Telkom targets the number of IndiHome subscribers in Indonesia to reach 5.2 million by the end of 2018. Until July, IndiHome subscribers reached 4.5 million subscribers.

He said various efforts continue to be done to realize the target. One of them is by launching 11 motorcycle promo program in seven areas of Telkom.

"This promo program is a form of PT Telkom offerings to customers who are loyal to Indihome products, and such promo programs will be conducted regularly," Linson said.

He said from the target, Telkom Witel Bandung is targeting 400 thousand new customers with three benefits offered by IndiHome. Linson is optimistic that the target can be achieved.

"Because Indihome products provide enormous benefits to customers," he said.

He said to support the target, Telkom has prepared adequate infrastructure for the community or prospective customers. Including preparing 700 officers who will provide services IndiHome.

Telkom has also created IndiHome applications on smartphones that can be used to order installations, payments, and also complaints Indihome such as the quality of the 2018 World Cup impressions that will be followed up quickly by the officers.
