I was in Telegram today. I came across this conversation.

First of all, I'd like to say, I can't mention the new exchange platform that was being opened (for security reasons 😨), however this exchange platform was spanking new!
Oh~ the Chaos
I mean...the numbers weren't in the right places. And everything was in Euro instead of USD. Most people are used to 0.0014 BTC written style. But everything was in whole numbers for example 5575 BTC, which was supposed to be in Sats.
Anyway...you won't believe the following conversation.

First of all... why would anyone do a transaction on a spanking new exchange platform with zero liquidity on it for crying out loud!!!!!!!
But anyway this is how the conversation goes~ try not to cry/laugh/gasp/faint whatever.

The Result?
For those who aren't aware....
0.5 TPAY = about $0.60 cents USD.
0.5 LTC = about $55 dollars USD.
Conclusion
★ First.. Be careful when you trade and look at and know your numbers well.
★ Second.. Um, wait for liquidity on an exchange to occur and try not to use the exchange in Beta mode during the first 5 minutes of existance??

Well that sucks for that person. Good lesson to learn though. At least it was a relatively small amount of money lost. $55 may be a lot of money to a student but I'm sure it's something that they will recover from.

Well in today's terms (and in fiat terms), it may not be big, but the difference could be bigger than thought when we think ahead in the future. He better hope that half a TPAY grows really big in value. It's kinda like the time when some guy bought pizza for 10,000 BTC. At the time, it seemed like not much value. Who knew 1 btc could have the potential to reach $20,000 each?! Right now, who can imagine 1 TPAY being $2,000? Or ltc being 50k. Right now, we'd say ridiculous! But later on down the road, we just don't know ...

The date was set for June 3rd (June 4th in my time zone), so the exchange had to go up as promised because a lot of people invested their money in it.
Remember Digitex? They couldn't even get the exchange platform off the ground and the project was delayed for at least another three more months, causing a -78% downfall 5 minutes after the announcement.
If this platform didn't open, people would fud. So,...the beta version came out at 2pm (my time today). I just don't get why anyone would actually push the "BUY" button to see if it works...

Well no matter it’s a pretty crappy way of doing business and yea the emphasis is on the people just jumping into it throwing their money around.... go downtown and throw it to the bums they need it more 😅
