SEC Commissioner Confident That A Bitcoin ETF Will Be Approved In Time To Come
One of the commissioners for the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)- Robert J. Jackson Jr.- shared his belief that a Bitcoin ETF will secure the SEC's approval in time to come during an interview with the Congressional Quarterly, CCN reported.
Jackson told the Congressional Quarterly:
"Getting the stamp of approval from the deepest and most liquid capital markets in the world is hard, and it should be. Once we put the stamp of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission on an investment... we make it available to everyday mom and pop investors."
According to CCN, the SEC listed the supervision of the crypto industry by its Office of Compliance Inspections and Examinations among the list of priorities for 2019.
