Kusumba Mosque(কুসুম্বা শাহী মসজিদ)
Hello guyes.Today I am here to inform you about my new experience.Today I visited the historical "Kusumba Mosque(কুসুম্বা শাহী মসজিদ)"and now I am going to share some information about it with you all.
Kusumba Mosque(কুসুম্বা শাহী মসজিদ) is situated in Manda Upazila of Naogoan district in Bangladesh. The Kusumba Mosque(কুসুম্বা শাহী মসজিদ) was build in 1558-1559.It is one of the most historical Mosque in Bangladesh.
The Kusumba Mosque(কুসুম্বা শাহী মসজিদ) is stands on the west bank of Atrai river and the mosque is named after the village Kusumba.It was build during the period of Afgan sultan whose name was "Sulaiman". Though the builder was from Afgan, the architectural pattern was not followed by them. The Kusumba Mosque(কুসুম্বা শাহী মসজিদ)" was constructed with Bengali style.
The Kusumba Mosque(কুসুম্বা শাহী মসজিদ)" was very much damaged in the earth quack which was occured in 1987. The Mosque is also called as "Kala pahar(কালা পাহাড়) or kala roton(কালা রত্ন). The meaning of kala roton(কালা রত্ন) is Black pearl.
From 1987 the mosque is protected by the Department of Archaeology of Bangladesh.
There are 1 mahabab inside the mosque. There is a flower garden in front of Masjid. Then there are huge dighies.It is said that the dighi was excavated during the Sultan era. It is useful to meet the needs of the people as well as the ozur's work.
We spend a very enjoyable time in Kusumba.You people are highly invited in Naogoan to visit "Kusumba Mosque(কুসুম্বা শাহী মসজিদ)" from all over the world.
