How to withdraw STEEM/SBD in India?

in #partiko5 years ago (edited)

It's been almost 1 year since I came on Steemit and with regular activity, I have been able to make a decent amount of STEEM/SBD.

Now, I was wondering how I might be able to withdraw some of it.

So, I am looking for some authentic and working details. I am also setting up Bounty to this post for best detailed answer.

Looking forward for active participation.

The best and easiest way is to convert STEEM/SBD to another currency like ETH or Dash and find a place to convert it to INR. https://localbitcoins.com/country/IN could be a great place. https://uphold.com is another great place although I'm not sure if it supports India.

Hope it works out well for you :) You ill loose a little bit of value for Tx fees on BTC or other coins.

Thank you. LocalBitcoins looks interesting.

India's largest cryptocurrency exchange.
It has STEEM/BTC transactions.
You must exchange BTC on the exchange.
Then angin to exchange INR.
STEEM/BTC.
BTC/INR.

This platform looks quite promising. Will definitely be exploring it.

Hi! I think you need to find exchange that will suits you. For me now it's Binance which has fees but allows you to withdraw money on your card but now it's available just for BTC, LTC ETH and XPR (here details https://www.chepicap.com/en/news/7063/you-can-now-pay-for-crypto-with-a-credit-or-debit-card-on-binance.html ) . Also I think you can ask somebody who will help you like @firepower I think he can give youbetter advice how to withdraw you STEEM.

@firepower looks a great account to check with. Thanks!

So here's what we usually do:

  1. Set a schedule to withdraw the Steem power you have stored. As it takes a total of 13 weeks to withdraw the Power that is vested, it is important you calculate exactly how much you want to withdraw over the course of 3 months and divide them accordingly.

  2. Open an account in any major exchange that supports Steemit. My choice is Poloniex for its easy to use UI.

  3. Covert those to Bitcoin and head over to LocalBitcoins.com or Koinex.in and sell it at your specified price.

Alternatively, you may also choose to sell your Steem directly to someone in need. But that requires you to find the personally, which is not always easy and also that you have a mechanism that allows you to receive you funds with guarantee. A smart contract platform.

Keep in mind that there is no easy way to do this in India yet. We just have to wait and see if any of the P2P exchanges such as Koinex.in, CoinDirect, UnoCoin or WazirX decide to list Steem.

Hoping that helps you search for the answer. Cheers.

If you don't kind, lease do check our page @ReverseAcid. We have been trying to spread Blockchain information for the audience to perceive easily.

Thanks a lot. I like the detailed steps and explanation

If you mean withdraw, as in cash. I'll advice you to use trusted exchanges. But if crypto is frowned at in your country or illegal. Please try and locate a personal person you can sell to while he gives you the coin.

In my country we have that, you send steem/sbd to them and they get you cash. Am so sure such exist too in India. Ask @mydivathings how she withdraws her steem.

Peace!

@rjoshicool, Before i was using Unocoin but after banning the INR Deposit and Withdrawal in relationship with the Crypto i am waiting for the further details and waiting for the removal of this temporary ban. Hope that you will going to get solution very soon.

Check out koinex.in

Genuine exchange, and deposits/withdrawal done in a peer to peer fashion.
