Why the DFA asked me an Affidavit of Mutilation for my old passport?
Hello my #steemians and #esteemians!
So here's the answer as to why did the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) asked an Affidavit of Mutilaton for my old passport.
I paid another Php 650.00 for the notarized affidavit at DFA. I thought it was okay because the front part of it has no writings. I was wrong. I returned the next day because my money wasn't enough to pay the affidavit.
Luckily the next day I went to DFA for renewal of my passport was okay. The officer there told me that next time don't write anything on the first and the last pages. But it wasn't me who did it. Guess who? My little girl, my daughter, haha! I did not give it to her! She just opened the drawer, saw my old passport then write something on it! She really loves to write, lol!
Just a piece of advice, lock in a safe place any important documents you have so that no little human beings can ruin it, haha! 😂😁
