Patron
Patron aims to be the next big influencer platform to compete with other social media giants such as Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and more. Patron will function in a similar way to Steem because Patron's native currency or PAT will be used to pay influencers for their activity and posts.
However, Patron is definitely a different model than Steem because Patron seems to be more focused on connecting with major social media influencers and allowing major companies to pay influencers in PAT in exchange for advertising for their companies. Patron wants to be the cheaper and more effective advertising model for companies that will be able to put their products directly into the influencer's hands without any middlemen.
The release of Patron has been a long wait for any early investors into the platform, but the Roadmap on their website as well as some information I gathered from their Telegram channel shows that the release of the Android and IOS versions of Patron should be released sometime in mid-late June if things go smoothly.
Once the mobile versions of Patron are released, the web version of Patron will be the next focus.

Patron has also recently formed a partnership with Token Stars, here is some info from their medium article:
