A Smattering of Macrophotography - Part VII

I tend to let certain areas grow wild because I enjoy seeing what comes up and grows each year. Sometimes I am rewarded with beautiful wildflowers like these above from early in the summer! Only with the macro lens did I truly see the intricate beauty of these blooms.

Later in the summer towards late August in the same area, I found this bee gathering nectar from a large patch of Goldenrod thriving there. Quite a buzy area for various types of insects gathering nectar and or pollen!

I really like how the sun is hitting the buds of this plant. They almost seem to sparkle in anticipation of blooming!

These buds also look like they are bursting with anticipation to bloom under the macro lens.

I found this moth resting on the window of my back porch. It was not happy with me for attempting to take macro photos and kept trying to move away so I left it alone after a few shots. It looks like it has thick brown fur to me.

This was taken in early spring in a gorgeous garden. I love the vivid pink and red color of these tiny flowers against the delicate white petals.

Some of the last blooms of the summer. It almost seems like these are in no rush to bloom, taking their time to stretch out the last warm moments before autumn begins in ernest.
