Today's Weed News for May 14th 2018 #PENNSYLVANIA
For today's weed news we go to the great state of Pennsylvania.
According to the State Department of Health, Pennsylvania will be implementing some positive changes to their medical marijuana program in the next coming days.
Berks County District Attorney and member of the advisory board John Adams recently spoke about the updated law saying "We have expanded the program...the program is to treat people with very serious medical problems."
Apart from adding chronic pain and opioid addiction to the list of qualifying conditions, the state will soon be allowing cannabis flower to be sold in dispensaries. But smoking the flower will still technically not be permitted. It will be sold as a product to be vaporized.
The changes go into effect this week on May 17th.
Adams also announced that 8 Pennsylvania colleges will soon begin experiments and focused research of the medicinal effects of marijuana.
Allthough this does seem like an improvement, I feel like the ban on smoking the MMJ and pretending that the state will be able to actually enforce it is ridiculous.
There is no reason why the government should be allowed to come between people and their medical treatments.

The government can be hilarious at times. My business mentor says he believes Trump may sign an executive order to legalise medical marijuana federally across the board to address the opioid crisis.
He says no one really knows how serious the problem is. Conservative estimates seem to confirm that this opioid epidemic is worse than HIV Aids ever was in terms of fatalities.

I've been advocating the Donald do that to fuck with Beauregard on our Sunday shows. But seriously, cannabis is THE issue for 2018 & 2020. Legalization will be on multiple ballots, Dem potentials for 2020 are jumping on Marijuana Justice Act, McConnell and Schumer are pushing the Hemp Farming Bill (which takes industrial hemp OFF of CSA) Boehner for fucks sake! It's a real crossover issue and with 64% in the US in favor of full legalization and 96% in favor of medical? It's game over. I'm with Blumenauer, Federally legal or decriminalized in four years or less. Everyone comes to cannabis - cash or cures.

Thats good cannabis is getting its credit to fight opiates. Hell cannabis can fight every addiction in my opinion.
hell ya. i used to be addicted to a few powdery drugs in my 20s and quit them all by just smoking myself stoopid on bomb trees every time I was gonna snort shit. Its cool that addiction is now becoming a qualifying condition for mmj.
Yeap me too man, I especially was lost on that black shit, cannabis can really bring you back to the ground if you really want it.
