The largest family of dwarfs

in #people6 years ago

The largest dwarf family lives in Barnesville (Georgia). Trent and amber Johnson and their five children live together, all with immature limbs.

The children of Trent and amber are Elizabeth and John, and Alex, Emma and Anna are adopted. They jokingly call themselves"the real seven dwarfs." They take their drawback as a given, and children are taught to live in a modern world, not adapted for their small growth.

Recently there was a conversation of the famous journalist and TV presenter ABC Barbara Walters with Trent and amber. During the conversation, they said that in their apartment they do not specifically adapt household items and things to their height to teach their children to overcome any obstacles they may encounter in adult life. Chairs, switches and other things in their homes remain the same as everyone else, under the growth of the average person.

Trent and amber first met at an event dedicated to people with dwarfism problems. Four years later, the couple married. Trent's parents were dwarfs, too, and amber's parents were normal. There was hope that the child amber and Trent will be normal, but, alas, it did not happen.

The fact that the child was also a dwarf, they are not confused. The second child was also born a dwarf. The second pregnancy was very difficult. The family wanted to have a lot of children, so she didn't stop there. And they started adopting dwarfs from other countries. They adopted Anna from Russia, then Emma from China, and from South Korea — Alex. They had no problems with adoption, because such children are almost no interest because of genetic abnormalities and growth.

According to Trent and amber, their friends now jokingly call them " Angelina and brad of the world of little people." The dwarf family tries to work, not sit on disability benefits. Trent deals with adaptation of cars for the needs of people of small stature, and amber in the Association of girl scouts teaches.

A lot of people look at them as aliens, don't understand them. But this family of dwarfs tries not to pay attention to any adversity, although there are cases that people stop and take pictures of them, like animals in the zoo. Children, of course, harder. While studying in a regular school, they get a fair share of ridicule and offensive nicknames. Parents teach their children to be more tolerant and to respond adequately to all this. For example, when Elizabeth was in third grade, a boy kept calling her "dwarf", to which she replied that, Yes, she is, "for such it was created by God who loves her". Soon, the taunts stopped.
