Run For Those Who Can't - Peoplephotography by worldcapture week #4

This is the motto of the team that runs the Sofia Marathon for a few years in a raw now, its members taking turns to push the specially designed wheelchair of somebody who cannot walk, let alone run.

One of the most amazing qualities of us, human beings, will always be the drive to help each other. Some people may not care but as a society we eventually will. Of course, this case has only a symbolic meaning to all participants and audience, yet it is a demonstration that we stick together and some of us try hard to leave nobody behind even at the cost of being slowed down and out of competition.

Maybe not efficient according to natural laws, it was what made us human in the first place.

(Well, it seems still said the words 'first place' despite the context.)
