Red Roses with Glaring White Centers - My Entry for the Petals Contest for #rosesopenweekend

I have edited this photo as best I can to take out the glare of the bright Colorado sun. I could see the white centers of these flowers from far away and it was not until I got close that the red appeared.

This rose bush is at the Denver Botanic Gardens, and I saw it on a tour I took there. All of the flowers were interesting to me but these were especially eye-catching and unique. Even though this shot is strange, I'm still glad I have it as a memory of that trip.

My post today is for the weekly #rosesopenweekend contest by @petals. I was using a point and shoot camera for my trip to Colorado, but I don’t remember which type it was.
