"Grevillea Glory."
This is my entry for the Yellow Flower Day Contest initiated by @petals a very popular series created by two very talented photographers; @adrianobalan and @sardrt

How extraordinarily beautiful are these golden grevillea flowers? Every intricate detail is formed to perfection and many birds and insects are attracted to their rich source of nectar.
They are a diverse genus of over 360 species and are grown as ground covers, small shrubs, trees and hedges. They are characterized by their ferny foliage and colourful, spiky flowers. They flower for extended periods making them a popular choice for many gardeners.
Grevillea vary in colour and variety and are an evergreen flowering plant from the Proteaceae family. They are also called spider flower, silky oak or toothbrush plant. The brightly coloured, petal-less flowers consist of a calyx tube that splits into 4 lobes with long styles.
Their nectar is also a vital food source for larvae such as the Dryandra moth and the Pieris Rapea.
THANK YOU FOR VIEWING. HAVE A GREAT DAY.
