Thanks so much for the fun topics monthly @phctop3

Great choices, and I love that you made it a family event! So much fun to talk about for sure. My older sister is 39, I'm 37 and my younger sister is 34 so we are in the same age-range as your sons. I'll have to bring this topic up with them next time we get together to see what their top choices are! The Simpsons is definitely a classic. I watched that a good bit as well, but didn't even think about it when I was coming up with my list! MacGyver is an excellent one, as well. The name is still synonymous with fixing up random objects for whatever purpose you need. So happy you joined us again this month with another really fun entry!

Have fun reminiscing with your sisters, plan an afternoon at the least, you will be dazzled and amazed what three of you will banter about. Good family Indaba, don't forget a notebook since once you get going memories stream in.

Awesome selection @joanstewart

I am familiar with nearly all of these choices. Your son are the same sort of age as my brother. I remember there being Knight Rider, Airwolf and Street Hawk all of a similar ilk. All very cool. Knight Rider was my fave of those.

The simpsons is class. So funny but with genius writing and subtle, and not so subtle, hints at political farcity and other topical stuff.

V was great from what I remember. It was a little intense and maybe not so much a kids show but very cool nonetheless.

MacGyver is the only one I never watched for some reason although I was aware of it.

The A-Team was classic Saturday afternoon viewing for me. Loads of action and funny stuff. BA was cool. It was cheesy as hell but as kids we didn't really see that. It was hilarious that nobody got hurt no matter what they got up to. Car accident, rolling down the road for thirty seconds but everyone climbs out without a scratch! Awesome.

Tell your sons that they have done a great job.

Gaz

I will be sure to let them know Gaz, they were having a great time going down memory lane. Simpson's was something they still watch from time to time, always enjoyed the humour.

V must have struck a cord with them, both still love Sci-Fi movies.

I remember them watching dinosaurs, ninja turtles and some other more sedate shows, this is their list of hits, was fun doing it with them.

That's so cool.

I loved The Dinosaurs. So funny. Talking of funny I loved A.L.F too. Pushing the boundaries of a kids show. Absolutely hilarious and I'm sure I remember Alf swigging beer and burping!

Alf was great, loved the hairdo and silly antics.

Great post again Joan.

It's very cool that you have gotten your Kids involved. Just what we were hoping would happen.

Cool choices from the offspring too! 😁 Knight Rider being my personal Fave! But they are all good and were all very popular.

Best of luck.

Son's had fun, I had fun, now sharing the fun and enjoying input from other members will be interesting from around the world.

This is awesome bring back some great memories thank you for sharing, I remember my brother loved the A team!

Great memories always flood in, looking forward to seeing what the girls used to watch, not having daughters this would be interesting.

The Simpsons are immortal. also my children watch them. I grow up in communist era (they ruled till 1989) but in my city it was possible to watch Austrian broadcasting in a very poor quality. And Knight rider series was my favourite. Airwolf is new for me, the music is great.

Some shows never grow old and keep going, Simpsons is one such show. We never had TV before 1976, what was viewed had to go through a special broadcasting board for approval, South Africa did not get all the shows, what was allowed for viewing was not too bad.

Some legendary programs there

Real boy stuff!
