Participating on a World Wide Walk to Fight Poverty in Philippines

Good morning everyone and to all steemians all over the world. Yesterday, we participated on World Wide Walk to fight poverty held at Quirino Grandstand. Hundreds of Thousands of people participated on that event. The World Wide walk have started 6:00am and not only in the Philippines but to 300 more sites worldwide.

So we also participate to this event to help fight poverty. It is so hot but we never felt it, we enjoy while we walk to a 1.6km walk distance. In the start, you will be given a wrist band and put it to your wrist. This wrist band is your passage to count your walk for the guiness world record for the title "Largest Charity Walk for a Single Venue" .You can see posters every 250 meters to know exactly where were you until you finished your walk.

At the finished line, you will drop your wrist band to count you as walker for the said event.I feel so glad that I finished my walk. We are so happy for it. and while I dropping my wristband, I cant explain the feeling, The only thing I know is I've been part of it.

The event got its Guiness World Record for the Largest Charity Walk in a Single Venue where 237,171 participate on the said event. This is truly amazing.
