Mount Kaman-otek in Brgy Balili, Bontoc, Mountain Province is so famous because its slopes are filled with soil and mud resembling the consistency and color of brain matter. It was also known as "Kaman-otek" (like a brain) Which is now called as white mountain and blue soil. Seen from afar, it also looks like a mountain slope filled with snow. According to the locals when the sun shines, and it becomes blue after rainfall and the sun is in hiding.

This attraction should be demanded to be preserved, like visitors should not be permitted to step on it else it will loosen to pieces of soil or it will shrink and we will lose it. This wonderful place can be seen by doing an almost 6 to 7 hour hike through Barangay. Alab, where you will go on top and over the Mountains. Actually, here's another option, just by going to Barangay Balili, take a thirty minute walk arriving at an area where small hills seem to have turned bleach white.
