"In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." A quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson that surely goes with our short walk along the Burnham lake with my sisters.

Last Sunday, we went out for a walk despite the bad weather. It was raining the whole day and it was too cold but that doesn't stop us to experience strolling at the Burnham lake while its just us. Just us and few toursists are there. Its a good feeling because I was able to capture good shot without other people enterfering the view.


There are lots of things that we can do at the Burnham lake aside from walking around. One of it is boating. With your 100 to 300 pesos, you can do boating. We can also have a picnic at the grassland area just near the lake.

This manmade lake was known before as city pond and is at the compound of the Burnham park. Surrounding the Lake are the rose garden, skating rink, childrens park, and the Baguio orchidarium. Rizal park, Igorot park, athletic bowl and Melvin Jones are also near the said area.
