Hello itinerants all over the world and steemit community! I am so back with my daily contents all just for you. For today's episode, I am very much excited to bring you in this one amazing and extraordinary experience which I have never done before. That is, to make a dutch pancake.

The Dutch Free Pancakes XXL Edition event was hosted by the "Dutch Pancake Events." Basically the DPE has been organizing such events for quite a long time. They have hosted same events roughly 450 times now in 80 countries and almost 200 cities and counting. Luckily they have chosen Philippines to be one of their destinations. The said event is more than just learning how to prepare a dutch pancake but also to learn new culture and meet new friends. The success of the event couldn't be possible without the initiative of Robin Vogelaar, the founder & organizer of Pancake Surfing.

The Dutch Free Pancakes XXL Edition event was held at Plaza De La Independencia Cebu City, near Magellan's Cross. The event started around eleven o'clock in the morning but when we arrived there they already had prepared so much pancakes and already had few volunteers and participants. I think it was the perfect place to conduct the event since there are so many people in the area.

The event had local and international guests who would like to extend their expertise to help other people in their own special ways and give inspirational talks about finding our passion. The program enlisted people who would do public speaking, English Semantic, Recycling trashes, talks about food and health, dental care, inspirational talk on being a young entrepreneur, and pancake globetrotting.

Volunteers & Participants trying to make their own "Dutch Pancake."

It was such a fun experience. Everyone can actually make their own pancakes but they had to wait until the other is done for the stoves and other cooking materials were only limited. Volunteers can prepare the ingredients while others are cooking. That practices Communication, Cooperation and Camaraderie.

I was joined by our fellow steemians @gratefulayn , @bellatravelph and @fernwehninja.

The organizer was very accommodating. He even personally taught us how to prepare the pancakes. In this picture, it seems that everyone's very serious pretending that they knew what they were doing when in fact we actually messed up. Haha

I am not really sure though if the expected numbers of pancakes were met because the ingredients did not suffice I guess. But anyways, it's not on how many pancakes were made but how many friendships and cultures were forged.

This was the time when @gratefulayn and @fernwehninja knew that they messed up with their pancakes. That's pretty okay, learning is truly a lifetime process and the best teacher is our experiences. Keep it up next time!
