A Brief history about Chess

Way back to the year 1500 the Chess can be traced back. But some studies shown that way back 6th AD it was probably originated in India. Then spread out later in Persia but when Persia was conquered by Arabs they taken it up to the Muslims and spreaded later in European country. But some minor historians believe that Chess was originated in China.

The first International Chess Tournament was held at London on 1851. Adolf Anderson won in London International tournamentand and London Club tournament. This chess tournament was organized by an English player named Howard Stauton. The first World Chess Championship was held on 1886 and from that day came the World Chess Federation (FIDE).

Some says that it was a boring game but i think it's not, you have to think deep for strategies and being wise at the same time. So it is a mind involved game. Very good past time instead of eating right? Lol! Just kidding.

How about you, do you like Chess game?😄

As you know Jose Rizal was an enthusiastic chess player, we know he played in Spanish coffees and with their friends. One of them Fernando Cañon won the first Catalonian ch., played in the city of Barcelona. Even we have one game of this tournament, so I think two initial players of Philippines was Canon and Rizal !.
