Ulog #3 Life Is A Series Of Choices, Not Chances

Our lives are the most precious gift God has given to us. To everyone around, to everyone in this universe. Our main purpose is to take care of this life that He gave us until the day comes that we will be united with Him. We should cherish every moment we make, love all the people around us and make this blessing meaningful. But, it is our choice to fulfill it or not. We may have chances but it is few, but our choices will always be as wide as the ocean. Life is a series of choices not chances. But why? In everything we do in our everyday life, we must make a choice. Sometimes simple choices, and sometimes wise choices. It will determine how we will go on with life. Let's make an example. You have a chance to win in a lottery. But it's your choice if you'd like to try or not. It's your choice if you'll grab the opportunity because there's a possibility of winning or it's your choice to ignore it because there's a risk of losing too. You go to work and you have options on how to commute to get there safe and early. If you have a car it's either you drive in it or you ride a taxi or hop on to an LRT. Or maybe you can just walk. It's your choice. They say that we only live once. That's our chance. Now, it's your choice on how you would live it.
