Our Projects: Celebrating Filipino Works and Authors
Daily Author Engagement and Showcase
We look for unrewarded posts written in Filipino in Steemit and always make sure to leave thoughtful comments. The main goal: let these wonderful authors know that someone reads their content. For some posts that we find truly excellent or unique, we feature it in @tagalogtrail’s daily author showcase with additional rewards from the daily showcase post's liquid SBD.
Contests and Activities
Collaborative fiction writing challenge
The participating authors are divided into two groups and were asked to write pieces of the story in succession based on a surprise prompt. Several authors gained a lot of new readers through the challenge, some even getting as much as 40+ comments in their post!
Logo and avatar design contest
After two months of using the free image from Pixabay as logo, we have finally decided to rebrand and change our logo. We've asked artists in Steemit to join the competition and create a new logo and avatars for Tagalogtrail's personas: Toto and Junjun.
Mother's day writing challenge
It was an eventful week for the Mother's day writing challenge with lots of heartwarming entries coming in. It was hard picking a winner but we're glad to know that the special prize was highly appreciated (we decided to send a bag as a gift to winning author's mother)

Funds Allocation
To promote transparent operations for all our supporters, we have previously discussed how @tagalogtrail allocates funds gathered from post rewards.
Delegation and Delegator Rewards
We have announced that we are distributing 80% of our curation rewards back to our delegators. However, our kind and supportive delegators insisted that we keep the rewards to use for the account. Thus, we would be skipping rewards distribution until new delegators come in.
