Existentialismus...

Der Staat will deine Unterwürfigkeit.

A fine little philosophy of freedom and personal, individual responsibility

Existentialism ...

If there was a philosophical school of thought that I associate most with philosophy, then it would most likely be existentialism.

One could say that I sound like a philosophical anarchist, while anarchism addresses the normative question of what should actually be.

In the sense of a positive and value-free philosophy, the other side of the coin would be existentialism.

Existentialism is basically the belief in the extreme free will, which states that knowledge begins with the individual actor and that all actions (or even non-actions) are the choice of an individual. As the name implies, existentialism begins with existence and states that every human decides to exist.

Now you can say, "I did not choose to be born," this is one of the most common arguments, but the reality is that a person chooses to continue to exist.

Each individual has his own power to commit or to commit suicide. The fact that a person does not end his own life means that he has decided to continue living. This in turn shows others that this person appreciates life or has found a meaning for himself in life and that this person is worse off if it would harm his life in any way.

If a person does not value life, that person would take steps and find a way to end it.

Existentialism roughly says that the existence precedes the essence, which means that a person is first an individual.

The individual exists and the essence of who he / she is is his / her own choice.

Unlike most philosophical schools of thought, which say that the nature of a thing is more important than its existence, existentialism speaks of a person creating his own values and deciding who he / she is.

Existentialism speaks of a person becoming an individual first and later becoming part of a group, and such a group identity is a choice made by himself.

Similar to the Austrian economy, existentialism begins with methodological individualism as a starting point.

Just as Ludwig von Mises once said: "Only the individual acts, only the individual thinks, only the individual feels,"
he explained the essence of existential thinking.

Existentialism is not only an individualistic philosophy of (apparent) free will, but also a moral philosophy that prevents people from presenting themselves as victims. For example, one decides to pay money to the state, called taxes.

Yes, this is an imposed choice, but the fact remains that nobody has to pay taxes ...

What was the guy's name right now ...

oh yes, Irwin Schiff was, he died in a prison cell because he paid no taxes.

Irwin Schiff has decided to defy the tyrant. There are certainly other methods, but he chose them.

As someone who does not want to rot in a jail cell, I make another choice, so I surrender to coercion, but after all, it's a decision I made that I've chosen as an individual out of all the possible choices.

Suppose somebody puts a gun to your head and says, "Sing to me or I'll kill you!" Now is this person forced to sing that truly? The answer is clearly "no"!

Because that person can still say, "Fuck you, do it, I'm screwed, you can not make me do something I do not want to do."

Who has the choice...

Perhaps this is not a decision that most people would make, but the fact remains that it is a decision, a given possibility.

Many people are in prison because they do not follow political orders.

And each of us can do that - because each one of us is free to choose.

The state can not arrest everyone, and if enough people resist, a state is disempowered.

The state can only intimidate people because the masses regard the state as inevitable.

Like a flock of sheep.

The state wants your subservience. "Do not resist" is the call of the state and its entourage.

They want to convince people that the state is powerful and that it is the ruler of the people.

Existentialism questions such notions by indicating that one has taken each action itself.

If a man is drafted into the army, he decides not to be a conscientious objector. When someone is asked to hurt or shoot someone else, that person decides to kill a stranger.

That's right, a guy who says, "Now kill Person A, B, C, or I kill your family," is still the trigger.

Existentialism does not say that one should not kill person A, B, C, but the fact remains that a choice is still given.

However uncomfortable, the choice always lies with the individual himself.

Existentialism is the philosophy of moral responsibility, since this philosophy states that "morality does not stop when a weapon begins ...".

Existentialism, though it may sound a bit grim, is also the path to freedom, because that style says,

"You're oppressing yourself, there's no order you have to obey."

As long as enough people have this mentality and the courage to act as an individual, resistance is always useful.

Once enough people understand that they choose to submit, and that they can stop at any time, something crucial will transform here.
