Is it easy to give unconditional love?
This is a good morning greeting Steemians with some philosophising on unconditional love.
A good start is to find a definition and Google is a quick easy click to the online dictionary. I found this one -
Sounds right to me because this is the love that filled me when I held my newborn babies for the first time. Another most remarkable thing is that no matter whatever they did during the growing up years the unconditional love stayed steadfast inside me. I figured out that it is part and parcel of parenting, trust me it has never gone away.
Have you felt unconditional love? It is an amazing feeling of complete love, of altruism and compassion. Like for instance, I am positive that this kind of love can be felt for so many others. It is a given that you unconditionally love your partner. How else can one keep a happy relationship over the years. Being reciprocal is the essential key isn't it?
What about your parents, siblings and in-laws? Not all relationships in extended families runs smoothly and it makes sense to say to yourself that enough is enough when anyone is mean, greedy and attacking. Say for instance that you learn that to keep giving unconditional love creates positive Karma. Further, say that you also learn that it is not about you when a family member acts out; instead it about them and their personal journey of growing and Karma. Would that be motivating factor for you to keep giving and to be kind?
