Is it possible to exchange life? I mean bargain with death

So hilarious as the topic may sound or seem to you, it is really terrible over here for me yesterday. I had a swell time watching this movie yesterday, horrific that is just the word to use. It has so many graphic and edited content or scene which made me lose my breathe sometimes and regain it in few minutes after. So let's state the “uneffective” law being used at the cinemas and on television this day and its goes thus;
It is rated PG - parental guidance. That is, anyone who is watching or viewing this content is doing at his or her own risk. Although, that is not how the law was postulated, haha!

So, I don't know maybe it is over some years now that the movie was released, besides I am not here to review or criticise the movie. What I am doing is just to engage people of my kinds to help me find answers to the unending questions to the plot of the movie. It is titled - Final Destination 5, guess here is the destination.

I will be very snappy with the introduction, from the opening of the plot there are set of friends who mysterious escaped death due to the fact that someone was gifted to have been able to forsee it coming. Several other people who didn't hid to the warnings died in the unfortunate disaster.
At the mass funeral for them, which this set of friends attended to pay their last respect to the demises. A hefty guy showed up and told them this; “nobody can cheat death”.

Okay, hold up there, what exactly happened?
Well, let me say it the way it is, tese set of friends, (Sam, Olivia, William, Alex, Candice, Peter, Molly, Isaac, Dennis, Nathan, and Roy) somehow escaped their death on the collapsing bridge. And a fellow told them, they cannot escape from death, which means they ought to have died on the bridge that day. But Sam had the power to forsee things and somehow he knew what was going to happen and he let them slip off the death.

Unfortunately, the scenario that played out on the bridge and how they died was in a chronological order when they started dying. Which to me was a mystery that the playwright fail to solve. Three among the friends died simultaneously before they knew what was wrong with them. It wasn't that the hefty man who told them they cannot escape death was behind anything or had a diabolical intention, this is just fiction and philosophy mastered together.

Nathan, Sam and Olivia didn't die in the process, how did they do it?
Back to the bridge scenario, among everyone of them it was only Olivia that survived the death. So how did Nathan and Sam managed to escape?
They exchanged their death for some other people.

Here are my questions;

Is it possible to escape death?
How on earth can you exchanged your life for other? And still live, is it possible?
Sam and Nathan who exchanged their death for other people, are they gonna be immortals or still gonna die?
