A big thanks to all who joined us on @clayboyn 's Coffee and Philosophy. on the much loved MSP Waves and P.A.L Discord Network. This was the the 47th episode and the recording can be found here: Coffee and Philosophy Ep. 47.

This episode we delved into the laws of attraction and some of the dynamics between where we are at and where we want to be, how we are and how we could be, how it is and how it should be. We discuss the concept that there are numerous opportunities avaliable to us in each decision and most aspects of life, but we fail to see them until we are pushed to search for "new opportunities".

This process all begins with taking a step back from the grind of our day to day lives and having moments of acknowledgments with the self. Understanding our wants and needs and gravitating towards them to the best of our abilities. However, this can be increasing difficult to do as "life gets in the way" , we struggle to disconnect from the hustle and bustle... and it can seem that we lose our way trying to achieve happiness, but more importantly we forget to continue to redefine what it is that will make us happy.

We are not the same people we were yesterday, last week or last year. Every passing second is a moment of growth or decay, of ideas, concepts, understandings, etc. all these can radically shift our direction in life. If we are not conscious of these shifts we can feel a lack of congruence, this can lead to adverse effects or or sense of self.

Life is hard, it can throw curve balls at any moment, and sometimes it can seem like we are going nowhere fast, but its only when we look back that we see how far we have come. Wherever we are in life , all we can do is play the hand we are dealt as best we can and push on, the next hand may be better. If we are unhappy with where we are at we have the ability to change it, and it may be difficult but we must remember that anything worth having in life does not tend to come easy.


Nothing worth having comes easy


Next on the list of topics for the show we jump into some diet talks, taste aversions and shifting eating habits. But soon we jump into the realm of abuse in life , male to female, female to male, even inter species. Tha fact that abuse is abuse regardless of who the victim or perpetrator is, but we tend to focus our efforts on "who is the best victim" as opposed to tackling the abuse itself. this came from a post i had written earlier in the week available at the following link: Women Abusing Men Is Normalized In Our Society.

this led to discussions on the issues within the areas of reporting abuse doctors, police, etc. focusing on the medical field complacency when interacting with patients. Last week I had created an article on this very subject based on a friends interaction at a clinic when seeking mental health assistance entitled Mental Health - Complacency From Doctors (GP's)

After this line of thoughts we circled back around to the laws of attraction, taking the time to "talk to yourself" about what makes you happy as an individual and taking positive steps to move towards these goals. While it may be disheartening at times to feel as though one is far away from their goals it is this discomfort and stress which can be a driving factor for change, but at least we are aware of what we want, which is more than others still in the matrix/rat race, and we can take solace in the fact that we are moving towards a more congruent and autonomous self.
