Does a design implies there is a designer?

The universe works in a way that suggests the things in it are planned. We have day, night, rain, sun etc. All these suggests that something or someone is responsible for these orderliness.

Theologians have argued that the orderliness we see suggests there is a power behind the things we see. So they argue it must be God.

Some philosophers have argued also that this orderliness we see does not mean that there is a brain behind it and that what we term orderliness can just be an accident - happening as if they are preplanned!

It has been argued that the idea of a design suggests that there is a designer. A cloth, for instance, suggests there is a tailor behind it. A building suggests there is a brain behind it and also for automobile.

Hardly is there any material stuff that we use in this world that does not gives us the impression that it was designed by a designer. So this gives many people the impression that once we see a design, it must have been designed by a designer.

But we can ask, is it always the case that once we see a design, then there is a designer behind it. If there is a natural disaster and this disaster lead to destructions and among these destructions, there is an apparent construction that is so beautiful beyond our imagination. Can this 'construction' be termed a design? If yes, who designed it?

The point i am making here is, it is possible for a car to be hit by a strong wave. In this encounter, it is possible for the car to turn to something that fascinates people. Can we call this a design and if yes, who was the designer?

The fact that something suggests it was designed does not necessarily mean it has a designer.

What appears intelligible might be purely an accident without any brain behind it.

If rain keeps hitting on a spot, it might create a hole. This hole might look like a design or the work of a sculpture. Now we have a hole that appears intelligible yet it was not designed by any designer but purely the accidental work of rain.

There can in fact be a design without a designer and not all designs are products of designers.

We have to also disscuss on the existentiality of a designer and also in what form. Must a designer be human? Must a designer be a being and can a material also inteligently be a designer. If the last ever true then the rain drop becomes the designer to that hole. Then who design the rain drop becomes a super designer. And so on. The world is just a chain of happenings. Powers already delegated to everything and anything including humans.
