The person who was looking for the sun

in #philosophy5 years ago

Even if most of us are involved, there are people who deal with what is ideal. Ren is one of them. Ran looked for the sun. Not the sun in the term of revelation, nor in material terms of warmth and pleasure. Ran looked for the sun all year round.

He remembered the years of rain and cold well, and bad. When he wanted to make some heavy drops, his mood depressed him and depressed him. With the legacy of the grandmother who loved him very much, Ran decided: "Enough from now on, I'm only looking for the sun."

Every year Ran finds himself spending time in another destination. One year in Argentina, a second year in Thailand, a third year in some remote and prestigious island. Ran decided that depression was out of the question and for that reason he was willing to do anything to prevent it. He did not want to deal with the empty, oppressive feeling that there was no sun in the sky, that people were confined in their rooms and offices instead of taking a day off and spending time on the beach. People whose beer cures their thirst but does not satisfy their joy. Ran knew - where there is a sun there is joy, and for it must dedicate all the toil.

Surprisingly, or perhaps not so, Ran also looked for love. In every exotic destination he found a longed-for love. As a goal-seeker, Ran filled himself with the expectation of a new relationship. He was delighted by the process of falling in love, the great anticipation of his partner, the passionate nights of love, and the waking of the pleasant sunlight. Turning beautiful news that looked at him each time with surprise and admiration. Perhaps the process moved him more than love itself. Like Madame Bovary, the heroine of one of Flaubert's novels, he would have considered marriage an adventure, and when he achieved it he felt utterly disappointed and lived in a constant quest to touch the idea of love.

Ran's lifestyle also required him to find new work every time. All the fun and fascinating work, whose timeliness gives it its charm. One day he was a waiter in a restaurant, another day he worked as a door-to-door salesman. Ran also went through more serious jobs for which he had to commit at least to the level of promise he remembers countless faces of his employers when he told them in surprise that he was leaving, and did not intend to live abroad all the time.

Ran lives without restraint. A life without disappointment, without heartbreak, without boredom. One night he attacked Ran with a nightmare. In the dream, he wondered if his way of life did not tire of him. He imagined that he was a prisoner of habit and a commitment to something else or a confrontation with reality that required him to give up a bit. Does not he give up on himself does not give an opportunity for something bigger? Was the childishness in her disgusting, but unstoppable? Ren awoke in terror and decided to run away from the thought that surrounded him. He stepped out of the tent, looked at the sun from Koh Samui and rolled himself a joint that would be strong enough to leave him in the surrealistic reality in which he functioned.
