Legend about globeflower

The young shepherd Alexey often brought herds of horses on a watering place to the lake. With the acceleration, the horses flew into the light waters of the lake, raising fountains of spray, but Alexey was the most violent. He dived, swam and laughed so infectiously that he scared all the mermaids.
Mermaids began to invent different tricks to entice Alexei. They then went out onto the misty lawn and danced so easily as only a mist from the breath of the wind can dance. They sat down on the green shore and sang songs, swaying their singing heads with the graceful heads. But none of the mermaids received the attention of a young shepherd.
Sadly sighing, most mermaids plunged to the bottom of the lake.
But one mermaid loved Alexey so much that she didn’t want to part with him. She began to get out of the water and quietly chase the shepherd. Her hair faded from the sun and became golden. a cold gaze caught fire. However, Alex did not notice anything.
True, sometimes he, perplexed, looked around at the rustle of a bush or was surprised at the unusual outlines of fog similar to a girl stretching hands to him. But even then, he only laughed and so dispersed the horse that the mermaid bounced off to the side, trembling finely from fear.
The last time she was sitting near the night fire near Alexey trying to draw attention to herself in a whisper, a sad song and a pale smile, but when Alexey rose to get closer to her, the mermaid melted in the morning rays, becoming a globeflower.
