Mallow
Mallow of a variety of colors have long adorned Ukrainian manors.
The mallow from South Asia came to us, where the ancient Pelasgians also knew it. This plant is also widespread throughout the Mediterranean and has more than one and a half thousand species. High stems, densely covered with bright, delicate flowers and large palm leaves, cover almost every rural hut with a living wall. Many shades: from white, pink to red and crimson, creates an amazing rainbow around the house. The name Malva is of Latin origin. In many countries of the Mediterranean, the Balkans, Asia Minor, this name still exists in this form.
