This is my entry #4 to this week edition of Photochain BLACK AND WHITE PHOTOGRAPHY contest by @runicar.

Photos: East Timorese people (4 photos).
East Timorese people are mainly poor and live a simple life. Women often have a lot of kids and work hard to put food on the table. Mainly the women. The principal activities are agriculture and artisanal fishery. Men often take their time on the fields and the sea. But also enroll in the army and the police.
These photos show a bit of the daily reality in the country.
