Borobudur Buddhist temple

Borobudur is a 9th-century Buddhist Temple in Magelang, Central Java, Indonesia. It's the world’s largest Buddhist temple, as well as one of the greatest Buddhist monuments in the world. The temple has three levels depicting the Buddhist cosmology: Kāmadhātu (the world of desire), with more intricated forms and details; Rupadhatu (the world of forms), already less decorated and complex; and Arupadhatu (the world of formlessness), depicting Nirvana, the emptiness, the nothingness, the ultimate paradise (a simple closed stupa (the inverted vases seen on the photo). The monument is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is the most beautiful and magestic temple I've been so far.

The Cape Byron Lighthouse, NSW, Australia

This Victorian architecture style lighthouse dates from late 19th century and is located at the easternmost point of Australia.

The Prambanam Hindu temple

Prambanam is a 9th-century Hindu temple and the largest Hindu temple site in Indonesia, also listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. These two photos ilustrate how magnificent this temple is. When I visited it i was under a large reconstruction project conducted by UNESCO. I've heard now it´s completely restored. So I have to come back!
